CAN I TALK TO MY PHYSIOTHERAPIST BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes, we are more than happy to discuss your physiotherapy or health requirements before booking an appointment. Please contact us on 07718177929 and request to speak with a Physiotherapist. Alternatively, you can email us your concerns or queries on: info@vibrantspirit.co.uk and a physiotherapist will be able to respond.
CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE?
You can email us to book an appointment online under the ‘Book Online’ tab on the home page. Specify the appointment type that you want to book and with which clinician and we will try to reply within 24hours to arrange an appointment slot.
All clients are expected to pay for their treatment at the time of booking, or on the day of attendance. A receipt can be generated for any client wanting to seek insurance reimbursement for the treatment given.
Please note that we no longer are able to liaise with your insurer or to bill insurance companies directly following treatments administered. It is your responsibility to communicate with your insurance company at all times.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?
You will have a full assessment where you will discuss your symptoms and anything relevant with the physiotherapist, followed by them looking at how you move and what causes and helps your condition. They will discuss their findings with you and make a diagnosis and a treatment plan will be created with, and for you, that is individual to you and your needs. They will also start treatment in your first session. You are likely to also be given a home exercise programme to complete daily to help speed up your recovery.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The physiotherapist or other professional will need to see the area that is causing your symptoms so please wear appropriate, loose, comfy clothing. Your dignity will be respected at all times. Please tell your practitioner if you are uncomfortable at any time.
DO I HAVE TO BE REFERRED BY MY GP?
No, you can refer yourself as physiotherapists are primary practitioners. If you are going to be claiming reimbursement for your treatment through an insurance company, you may in this instance need to be referred to us by a GP or specialist? Please check the terms of your policy or ask your insurance company directly. We will try to assist you but will not know the ins and outs of your individual policy cover.
